Business focused holiday campaign pays it forward for the health of all

This holiday season will most likely look different for many businesses and organizations.  For 3 local community members they have developed a program that focuses on paying it forward and giving back to the community in which we all call home.

Holiday 4 Hearts was born out of an idea of giving 50 organizations in the Annapolis Valley a bit of festive joy this year.

50 businesses will be asked to participate by purchasing a $50 wreath from Holiday 4 Hearts.  Each of the wreaths will be designated for 50 hand chosen local charities and organizations.  On December 3rd & 4th our elves will hand deliver these wreaths on behalf of the business who purchased them.

All money raised by this program will be used to purchase a Defibrillator that will be awarded to an organization who would greatly benefit from it and are willing to have it registered on the NS defibrillator registry.

Adding another defibrillator to our community will greatly increase the chances of saving a life in a time of need.

The committee made up of Nancy O’Halloran from Braveheart First Aid, Paula Huntley from Huntley Consulting & Shaun Whynacht from Blue Cow Marketing have plans to make this an annual event, with the goal of growing it larger and beyond in years to come.
